What is Heatstik™?

Heatstik™ is a heated bat warmer designed for softball and baseball players training or competing in cold weather. It warms the barrel using a controlled 5V system so bats feel more responsive and consistent in low temperatures.

How does Heatstik™ work?

Heatstik™ uses:

  • a USB-A power connection

  • a 5V / 2A compatible heating system

  • multi-layer insulation

Each unit ships with a compact power bank capable of supporting the recommended 5V / 2A output. No wall power is needed in the dugout — players heat their bats anywhere.

Does Heatstik™ prevent bats from cracking?

No. Heatstik™ does not prevent bat cracking.
Composite and alloy bats can still crack because of:

  • cold temperatures

  • hard or frozen balls

  • large temperature swings

  • mishits

  • internal bat age or stress

Heatstik™ simply helps maintain a warmer barrel which some hitters prefer for feel and exit response.

Can Heatstik™ increase the risk of cracking?

Any product that introduces heat before impact can create thermal variation. If a bat is extremely warm and then makes contact with:

  • a very cold ball

  • near-freezing air

  • a sudden temperature swing

the contrast may increase barrel stress — especially on aging composites.

Users must apply caution, monitor conditions, and understand that bat cracking is still possible with or without a warmer.

Is Heatstik™ responsible for cracked or damaged bats?

No. Heatstik™ is not responsible for any cracked, damaged, or broken bats under any circumstances.

Bat failures are influenced by:

  • player contact point

  • ball hardness

  • use in cold weather

  • manufacturing variance

  • general wear

By using Heatstik™, you accept full responsibility for bat condition, use-case, and outcome.

Does Heatstik™ modify a bat?

No. Heatstik™ is an external warming accessory. It does not alter the internal structure, materials, or certification of a bat.

Most leagues do not regulate external warmers, but we encourage all players to check with their association or tournament director.

Is the temperature regulated?

Heatstik™ uses moderate, controlled warming — not extreme heat. It is not designed to “cook” a bat or push temperatures beyond realistic game conditions.

Always use judgment in extreme weather and avoid overheating.

Does Heatstik™ include a power bank?

Yes. Each unit includes a USB-A power bank capable of supplying 5V / 2A output to support portable heating.

Players may also use their own power banks if they meet or exceed 5V/2A capability.

Can I leave Heatstik™ powered on for long periods?

Heatstik™ is intended for short-duration heating during game prep or practice.
Do not leave it:

  • plugged in overnight

  • powered unattended

  • inside a bag while heating

Always disconnect after use.

When will the first batch ship?

Our launch batch is scheduled to ship in March.

Depending on preorder demand and sell-through speed, later orders may experience short fulfillment delays. Early buyers receive priority allocation.

Do you ship outside Canada?

Initial launch supports Canada and the United States.
More regions may open depending on demand and logistics.

What bat sizes fit in Heatstik™?

Heatstik™ is intended to fit most adult-size softball and baseball bats. Full diameter and length specs will be published as production finalizes.

What is the return policy?

Returns are accepted according to our published Refund Policy. Items must be unused and in resellable condition.

Heatstik™ is a performance accessory — once used, we cannot guarantee product condition for resale.

Can I preorder?

Yes. Preorders secure placement in the first shipment. Inventory is limited, and ship-times are based on order priority.
